There appear to be a number of ignored cases of Islamophobia in the Labour Party that have been made public.

It is important that confidence can be provided that these - like complaints of all types - have been (or will be) treated with the seriousness they deserve.

The deficiencies of the complaints system have been highlighted previously.

There appear to be many cases of Islamophobia which appear to have been dealt with appallingly.

There is a lot to do: it is important the new team resolves all outstanding issues (inc. from this report) & ensures all systems are fit for purpose.

As with all complaints of Islamophobia (others of which we have been made aware of), we will continue to monitor action/inaction

The highlighting of Islamophobia is, as that is a particular focus for me
