Hey, fursuit makers. I know we have this chat often, but let& #39;s do it again for funsies! You know the money you take from your clients? Do you spend it all before delivering their product? And then do you take on more work because you no longer have money for bills and then have a
queue that& #39;s years long that you hardly work on? Yeah? Stop it. Please just stop. If you& #39;re spending money before delivering a product, you& #39;re stealing it. Plain and simple. That money is not officially yours& #39; until that product is in the hands of the client that paid you. Why is
this such a hard concept? I really don& #39;t understand. Hard reality is if you don& #39;t have a substantial savings set aside, you should not make suits full time. You should have enough money set aside to sustain you until your first project is done and delivered. You should actually
have more than that set aside in care things delay your work. Please don& #39;t try to run a business without knowing anything about running one! Okay? Cool beans! https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👌" title="Ok hand" aria-label="Emoji: Ok hand">
And I can hear it now "But SpiritPanda, that& #39;s impossible!!" No it& #39;s not. Want to see my business account? Lol it has every single penny my clients paid me this year EXCEPT for the small amount of taxes I owed the state of Michigan for sales tax. I don& #39;t even spend their money
on materials until they have their products. I buy all of the materials on an interest free credit card and pay it off when I get to pay myself. It& #39;s not hard. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤷‍♀️" title="Woman shrugging" aria-label="Emoji: Woman shrugging">
This also is not aimed at those of you who did this but are working your butts off to make it right! I see you and I support the crap out of you! You CAN get through this and turn things around. :)
