I've been quiet on this but if you are able, please support USPS, even if it's just buying stamps. I cannot convey how absolutely disastrous this will be; I see people saying it's due to "mismanagement" but usps is entirely self funded & has to prepay *75 years* of pensions

The only reason I am able to have and support myself on my small business is through usps, and the same goes for many other small business owners on omline selling platforms. This is not even touching on the 600k~ people employed by them & the other services they offer

To anyone saying that f*edex or u/ps can handle the strain, do you know how much it costs to deliver a single letter through either of them? These companies are not for delivering small parcels or letters and the strain on them will be tremendous

I'm considering essentially this entire year a loss as far as conventions go (aka most of my income) so online sales have been one of the few things keeping me afloat through this, so I cannot help but be terrified at the notion that USPS just may not exist the way we know it

And this is just me. What about the elderly and disabled who rely on affordable mailing rates for their medication, supplies, mail? People who live in rural areas that fe/dex & u/ps may not delivery to or charge exorbitant costs for? *mail in ballots*??? There is so much!

Stamps are the easiest way! Mail some letters if you can, or just begin a stamp collection. USPS even has an ebay account where they have some older stuff that's not available on their main website. Like, check out some of these

A lot of people don't know this but one of the services USPS offers is FREE mail pickup (tho you can schedule a specific time for $$) & FREE shipping supplies(w FREE shipping), as in they will literally come to your front door at the end of their route & pick up any mail you have

You can schedule reoccurring pickups as well; this is a service so many people can benefit from, no strings attached
