I’m bored and have nothing else to do so I’m going to spam y’all TL with a thread on my unpopular opinions on TV characters. Because I watch a lot of TV I only did live action adult shows, I’ll do animated shows and childhood shows another time. Alrighty let’s go!
Team Eric all the way. He and Sookie had the better love story to me AND made for a sexier couple. It’s a win win.
Arya was a badass no doubt but Sansa was the more interesting character. Her strength came from a real place and she turned all her failures into lessons and became the smartest character in the show.
Cristina Yang was the true protagonist of Grey’s Anatomy. That’s on a period. Ambitious, unapologetic and a genius. She was the true star. Literally stopped watching after she left.
Tywin was a better ruler than Jon. Tywin’s only the villain bc he hurts characters we like. His cruelty was always for a very pragmatic reason (aside from Tyrion). The man was brilliant, ruthless and incredibly efficient.
Team Cami. Sorry Klaroline shippers. There was an air of poetry to Cami and Klaus that was too alluring to resist.
I can’t even explain this one lol. There’s no way I should find Jason more attractive than Eric but here we are. Eric was the finest nigga in the show but I lusted after Jason more. You can imagine how I reacted to their sex scene. 🥵🥵🥵
Dr. Izzie Stevens has the most moving stories on Grey’s. Her helping illegal immigrants, falling love with terminally ill patients, cancer etc you name it. Always touching.
Hannah’s suicide was justified. I don’t care what y’all say. Aside from the crushing loneliness and isolation that comes with being bullied and screwed over by everyone, sis was RAPED!! By the same guy she had to watch rape her friend at that.
Lafayette Reynolds was the best character. I don’t even feel the need to rationalize this one. And we stan one of the only femme queer black men in all of television.
Best voice in the entire series. Yeah Rachel and Mercedes were the better singers but Santana’s voice?! Whew. Let’s not forget she outshined Rachel on her signature song!
Catelyn Stark was more admirable than Ned Stark. She was honorable AND intelligent. If Robb took ANY of her advice the war would’ve went differently. I don’t hold Jon against her. Even to this day women don’t like bastard children.
This is generally considered the worst episode of stranger things by critics and fans alike. And it’s my favorite of the whole series. The 80’s punk aesthetic, grunge New York vibe and meeting El’s sister was great.
Derek and Meredith had a love for the ages but my fave couple of the show were these 2. They were so moving and tragic. 😔
Esther Mikaelson was not a villain. She made a mistake and literally came back from the grave to fix it. Yes she tried to kill her kids but what if your kids had centuries of blood on their hands? And it was all your fault bc you betrayed your witchly duties?
This is the most unpopular opinion in this thread. I liked Elena Gilbert. Nina Dobrev’s performance was moving. I blame sexist writing for consistently making her the damsel in distress even with supernatural abilities 🤦🏾‍♂️.
