The world is bad, so here’s a thread celebrating the third birthday of Sailor Ripley and Lula Fortune, the meeps, my cats, the most important thing in my life.
In May 2017, after hearing little cries, me and @breagrant, with the help of a very brave old lady, pulled two tiny kittens out of the wall of my apartment building

The first night, I was just going to get them cleaned up and fed and take them to a shelter the next day. You can guess how that went.
Less than a day later, I knew I couldn’t be apart from them. I decided to be their mom
Lula was named Audrey Horne for about an hour, before I realized she didn’t have that personality. She is the exact replicate of another favorite Lynch character: Lula Fortune - all legs and concern.
