Zon knows it’s apart of the curse, but Saifah just thinks it was his mind telling him he should finally confess his feelings, so Sai approaches him and goes “hey Zon! Look, I don’t hate you ok? I never hated you. I don’t wanna do this bullshit anymore, can we just..be friends? +

Because I would like to be your friend. I would like to be...close to you. Is that ok?” Zon has had some time at this point to process that he’s no longer in the novel, but hearing real Saifah say those words gives him hope and he smiles, fighting his tears. “I think I’d really +

like that, I don’t think I can hate you anymore, Saifah, it hurts hearing me say that now. I don’t think we can be just friends, but I’m ok with trying.” +

Saifah laughs, confused by his words. “Just friends? Mr. Zon, are you trying to hit on me?” But Zon, gaining confidence from his experience, just smiles and goes “I don’t know, would you like me to?” Making Saifah blush.

“You are...so very very weird.” Zon smiles more, thinking of the novel once again. “Hey, the concert for the football club, they wanna pair us up for that, right?” Saifah skeptically looks him up and down. “Yes...” Zon hauls his backpack over his shoulder +

and shows his dimples in a crooked smile, “I was thinking about doing it. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. It could be fun, what do you say?” “...I say who are you and what have you done with Zon [full name here]?” But Saifah grows quiet and shyly clears his throat +

“But, it wouldn’t be the worst thing. I think I’m in, too.” And they both smile at each other, both remembering the events of the past; Saifah in his dream, but for Zon it was his reality. This will help show that no matter what they are meant to be.
