You know how we're all mad about PE right now? As a former teacher I have THOUGHTS.
Everybody understands that to read or do math you need instruction. You are not expected to have this knowledge erupt out of you fully formed.
"Go run a mile" *dog meme* No teach. Only run.

I was lucky to spend most of high school PE in weight training with the football coach who thought proper form was important and gave us each a special plan catered to goals WE SET OURSELVES. That's... not most PE.
We still had freaking RUN DAYS twice a week tho.

Nobody ever told me "your foot ought to come down like this." Nobody ever told me "Here is how you warm up." Nobody ever told me "Move your arms like so or your circulation won't be good enough." Nobody ever told me "So hey you might have asthma."
The exasperating part is, teachers are drawn to the people who excel in their field. We like people who share our love. It's understandable. But the JOB is: render EVERYONE competent. But when we're all in together, some of us don't shine brightly enough to get the help we need.
And I think not everybody knows there IS help they could get? People seem to think that the only thing stopping us all from being great football players is drive. Not everybody could go pro of course, we're not clones. But most of us could be BETTER if someone took time with us.
You have to learn all information, not just academics. It's why I get so mad when someone admires my art and calls it a gift from God. Yes, I DO have natural aptitudes and reasons I was able to attain this skill at this level. Also I worked so bloody HARD, and people TAUGHT ME.
The same thing happens with art that happens with PE! People think you can either draw or you can't. One of the many things that made me give it up is we are forced to have ONE lesson plan for all the kids who are in together and given the same assignments, regardless of skill.
"So YOU say. You can draw."
So could you. You may or may not ever be great, but you could draw. I could teach you. If I didn't have forty kids in a class and there's a kid who doesn't quite understand the concept "cube" sitting next to the kid who wants to grok 3 pt perspective.

A point being made by a friend on a locked account is how much encouragement to PLAY helps. Just getting encouragement to noodle around. Sketch. Doodle. And most of us didn't really get that for PE. Gotta excel, can't just go explore what your body can do.
Anyway if wasn't YOU. It isn't your fault if you weren't actually TAUGHT. If nobody encouraged you, or instructed you, or made it OK to suck at this until you got a little better.
But it's not too late.

If you want to learn something, you can. Especially now. Plenty of people on the internet would be happy to show you. A ton of them are on youtube.
Just know that being not very good is a totally normal stage. You will get better. It's OK.
