As many of you know, I& #39;m working on a new book about the kindness of others. There& #39;s a couple of chapters dedicated to the wonderful deeds and acts that come from strangers. If you have a little story, share it here. I may include your tweet! #Makeyourownsunshine
An example of this: The stories that get me are ones of a single parent with children who are having a hard time with young kids at the airport or supermarket in a public place. When I read about strangers that take it upon themselves to help the parent by entertaining the child
or carrying groceries, helping them at the gate, on the plane or a place of business I cry with joy because I& #39;ve been in their shoes. It& #39;s so nice to know humanity is everywhere, and the helpers are always close by.
(and by single parent I don& #39;t necessarily mean divorced or separated, but just by themselves without another set of hands to help with the task at hand...)
