Since it's Easter I'm doing the Lords work and showing you guys some of Jacob Easons' best throws from last year. (Thread)
Vs Oregon, singleback formation, shot play. Something Luck and Reich would hit on a lot back in 2018.
Here's a 30-yes back shoulder, opposite hash for the people that say he isn't accurate.
Rolls out of the pocket, and fits it on the sideline for only the WR to make a play.
How about relocating in the pocket and hitting the WR on the deep dig, something Luck was great at throughout his career
Vs Arizona, another back shoulder throw, if the Colts get a big WR Eason will feast with this.
How about he sees pressure in his face coming and instead of panicking and running like some prospects do, he stands in and delivers a good throw to the open WR
Another shot play. From the 27 to the opposite 27 with no real step into the throw. Pure throwing passer.
Another back shoulder fade for the "Jacob Eason is not accurate" crowd
Up 14, doesn't matter, Eason throws it up there for his WR to make a play.
Vs BYU, this is my favorite throw. Yeah the WR is open, but this is rolling left, off platform, back corner of the end zone, over the DB, on the sideline. Only a few QB can make this throw.
Eason says "Let me show off my arm and throw it between three defenders in my passing lane for a TD."
Another sideline throw, across the field?! Sheesh.
Another back shoulder throw 30 yards down field?!
Oh the LB is sitting on the route, doubt he can jump it if I throw a heat-seeking missile.
Another dig route where Eason shows off his throw power and his accuracy fitting in between two defenders.
Vs Eastern Washington. Another shot play. The ball just looks so good in the air when Jacob Eason is throwing. I won't ignore the WR had three yards of separation but this is a beautiful throw.
35 yard back shoulder throw FROM THE OPPOSITE HASH?!?!?
How to beat zone: have an arm like Jacob Eason's.
ANOTHER back shoulder OPPOSITE HASH throw by Eason. Fairly accurate if I say so myself.
And to finish off, another hard PA, Eason gets chased out of the pocket while getting hit delivers an accurate throw to the WR for a first down.
