I haven't heard a good argument for why Biden is "way better than Trump." Biden has spent a lifetime undermining egalitarian, pro-social, pro-environmental policies. He has been involved in virtually every action to roll back progressive policies of the past 30 years:
+ VP during expanded fracking & oil extraction nationwide, not only causing public health crises but dramatically increased carbon emissions ("the nation's biggest oil/gas boom")
+ voted to approve Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia to the Supreme Court https://money.cnn.com/2016/07/21/investing/trump-energy-plan-obama-oil-boom/index.html
The real danger with Biden, as with Obama, as with all centrist Dems, is they substantively produce practically the same results as Republicans, but instead of being vilified as Republicans rightly are, they're worshipped by mainstream liberals and media
The Democrats and Republicans have a mutualistic relationship, a good-cop-bad-cop routine, in which the GOP pursues extreme policies and Dems launder it. The idea that Biden is on our side against Trump is really stunningly credulous
Even if Biden were marginally better, with climate & ecological crises, being marginally better functionally does not matter. Incremental progress is not progress at all. Small improvements are equivalent to no improvements. But all this is academic since Biden will probably lose
