So 2 years at my job and how I landed it all via twitter or social media

So I had seen @kingnnamdi_ supporting @BRYANTHEMENSAH and I decided to ask him for his email list to some NG OAPs ( I had asked a couple people but your guess is as good as mine .. nada) but Nnamdi shared his with me and till date he’s one of the two peeps that ever did .....

The second person was @FrancisTimeBomb shared all his over 118 list with me ..( this guy randomly called me when I did some rookie mistakes and how to go about things, yup hadn’t met him nor any of these two ) .. back to namdi ..

After he shared he told me not all will respond but @RaezyWinston usually fucks with good music regardless of the status of the artiste, mainstream or nah and he’s all about Rap. And yup Raezy was the only one that responded to the mail Namdi sent and started playing up till now

Lol I probably gave the guy grieve and he wasn’t sure what sex I was .. I don’t know what happened but I got call from him telling me about a job opening .. I said ehn and you recommend me based on texts and tweets? so anyways he says my guy will call you to be sure ..

So @thisisAQ calls me ( I thought he was the one I was going to work with, well I work with him now but nah he was the one going to recommend so he needed to check me before lol just Incase ) he was stern af and then he said okay na you will be contacted ..

Mind you I was working with a company my dad was stakeholder in as a PR assistant and the HR is a good friend @hitman47_gh ( I felt the company is too big why this small boy HR ) but yeah it was more like choosing your fathers dream job and a “hobby”

Then @iredumare called to interrogate me ( who is this overly serious fellow, it’s just music calm down .... it’s not just music now) so ire came to gh and I had my first interview with him over Salad ( I think he was on diet) anyways fast forward I got the job

Left my previous job not without explaining myself over 60 times to my dad my mom my Aunty in UK and my brother ( who just wouldn’t stop teasing me with my dads fav statement .. “I’m concerned about job security”) ...

Fast forward met amazing people and yup @tosinsho_ was kinda ...nvm nah wait a pain in my ass ( mtcheww, still is)

And when I wanted a team I asked @le_loudmouth who directed me @swayekidd who had interviewed me for his blog a year back via twitter and then I reached out to @TwumTweets whom I had written some articles for, for his digital mag also via twitter ( this guy gave me grieve too)

Now exactly 2 years the guy who shared that email list that started all this chain is on my team .. his mind was blown when I told him @kingnnamdi_

And the people on my team Ehn absolutely amazing ... .. Amazing years spent and off course Sadiq lol who still doesn’t pick his phone on the first nor 6th ring .., but influence is influence and boss is a boss (lol I didn’t @ him for a reason). Also Oye

And big s/o to my baby boys @BRYANTHEMENSAH ( this one just likes to waste my money with his ideas) , @no_azonto_alwd , @GiovanniOSB and again @iredumare lol I don’t know who is proud of who
