More ppl died in New York this week than on 9/11

This Easter, I’m not just grateful that Christ will have the last word on all of our deaths

I have decided to give Christ the ONLY word on my life

I don’t want to “go back to normal” y’all

I want to go back resurrected

A stranger at a service a 2 mo ago pulled me aside

“Can I pray for you?”

I said of course

She prayed, “Lord, let Heather allow you to be the ONLY Lord over her life. Let the word of man never supersede the Word of God.”

I’ve thought about that prayer a lot this quarantine

At some point, we can’t let ppl tell us who we are

A stranger spoke a truth I deeply needed to internalize

How many of us are allowing many other ppl to be lords over our lives? If what they say, goes against what God has said

They have to bow down
