This makes me furious, because it is so well done.

It is an argument that our current and past administrations’ abject failure to follow the plan for “surge capacity” leading to *triage deaths* should be absorbed into bloodless verbiage “Overwhelmed health care systems.” https://twitter.com/barackobama/status/1248609184767078405
We are talking about deaths of presidential accountability. Trump’s, Obama’s and maybe as far back to Bush & Clinton.

“Overwhelmed health care systems.”
is like code for “I’m sorry your spouse died because we disregarded our duties to keep our supplies stocked for pandemics.”
I swear I probably feel more responsible for lost lives from not merely using my moderate sized account more effectively and efficiently in a life and death situation than do the actual presidents of the United States. And I have zero responsibility to do so.

This is absurd.
