The @USPS is one of the most essential services to community, democracy, and communication in the United States. Just like the @canadapostcorp is Crown corporation in Canada, USPS is a part of the foundation of shipping and mailing in North America.

It's crazy how many corporately shipped packages, like Amazon, FedEx, UPS etc. are delivered at the last mile by Canada Post and USPS.

Imagine paying exorbitant extra shipping fees because you're outside of urban delivery areas or just off the "last mile" of shipping.

Without the government postal services, even distribution of mail and packages would be out of the question.

Government postal services are a right of communication, to allow for all our communication to be on the "same" basic level of importance.
