anyone asking if AMAB trans people experience male privilege before coming out almost certainly is either ignorant of the experience of trans women and hasn't bothered to ask us about it or is just a transphobe looking for gotchas
there's no way to ask that question without reducing our experiences to a framework that doesn't in any way fit the way we've felt gendered oppression throughout our entire lives, and the question itself perpetuates that oppression
also, if yr a trans woman arguing that you did experience male privilege, try reflecting on how that privilege was wound up deeply in trauma, and please consider that ignoring that nuance reproduces that violence against your trans sisters
