For two weeks, I have defended the view that Lombardy has reached herd immunity and Covid will slow down. The recent daily deaths from Lombardy were 458, 381, 367, 351, 345, 249, 238, 300, 216, 273, 110. Yes, just fucking 110 is the fresh number. Covid has run out of corpses.

Note that the new cases, 1460 is fresh, don't significantly slow down. But it's because this number is mostly constrained by the capacity of testing. They should be publishing the percentage of the positive results in the recent day instead, that's more relevant for the peak.
