Ds included a pause in all fed student loan payments from now till Sept AND 0% interest in the CARE Act (pandemic stimulus bill) but 1 of the reasons why Gen Zers like @Madsvr9 don't appreciate the diff btw the parties is Ds are awful at credit claiming. It'll have massive impact https://twitter.com/Madsvr9/status/1248999769009197056
Even under the FAR more generous student loan repayment terms we live under now, compared to a decade ago before again, DEMOCRATS pushed through a slate of reforms that dramatically altered the terms of student loan repayment, switching things to income based rather than loan
principal based, these loan payments are a burden for many millions of people. Mine are still quite high, bc I'm married & my payment is based on HH income. Many are in the same boat- at $500 a month. Can you imagine the diff of NOT paying that for the next few months for people
whose livelihoods are disrupted? By the way Gen Zers & Millennnials, b4 Ds pushed through those student loans reforms, under the old system, my student loan payments would have been $1200 a month. So yes, there IS a difference between the policies of the parties & what they enact
And this is just one micro example out of one policy issue, of which there are many. Along w the problem Ds have of completely failing to inform the public of the things they do on their behalf, a 2nd problem is that the alt-left media world has apparently convinced an entire gen
of voters that there is no, or little difference between a mainstream D like Biden (well, really anyone not Bernie) & the GOP. I can assure you, this is not the case & along w the fate of the Republic, the lives of many people hinge on young voters knowing this. So I would urge
progressive media influencers to consider why it is a smart, engaged, young person might thing that the parties are similar at the same time when they are more polarized & policy distinct than they have every been in history? BC the answer to some of that is, you. And perhaps
it might be beneficial to spend some time focusing on contrasting the two parties rather than the 7 year inward reflection thing y'all have been largely exclusively been working on. BC many of your are extremely talented & your audiences are the only access points to young voters
