Wisma Putra is discouraging Malaysians abroad from going back to Malaysia. If you see them coming back, more often than not, it’s because they cannot sustain living abroad, have poor living conditions or are at risk of being sick. They have no choice but to come back.
Some may easily say that they choose to stay abroad, so they should stay abroad, or that the govt shouldn’t spend on them if they can afford to go abroad. Kau ada fikir tak pasal students yang gi belajar agama atas sponsorship zakat or bayar sendiri yang kena halau asrama?
The same folks now have to tumpang rumah orang, ada tu berpadat berbelas-belas orang serumah. If anything, the govt should bring these people home first. As much as people are going back, many more are staying abroad still.
