They'll attempt to defund the Postal Service in order to force it not to function, so that they can say it doesn't work, and bring in private, for-profit alternatives run by bankers who bribe our electeds.

This is what they've been doing to public schools for ages.

USPS is also a threat for several other reasons:

Makes vote-by-mail a reality when the GOP needs voter suppression to survive as it has for decades

Can replace most banking services for every American one day, eliminating all fees for working people

Tactic of destabilizing the USPS, a successful socialized enterprise, has been used overseas for generations. Targeting nations with devastating sanctions, poisoned crops and right wing death squads for going populist.

Then pointing to impact as why socialism doesn't work.

Look up how the right uses Venezuela to point to the dangers of prioritizing people over Wall Street.

Then look up how it created their calamities. And how today, the immigration crisis is rooted in their actions in Central and South America.
