You have to reduce the beans so there not runny but not all smashed up and stuck to the bottom of the pan. This all relies on what temperature you have the pan on,it has to be high for it to reduce but can’t be too high so it sticks to the pan

Stir with a wooden spoon but not too much as broken beans create broken dreams, never microwave beans that is for serial killers. Timing the toast is not as easy as it sounds once you’ve butterd one the other slice is cold so stagger it by dropping each piece at different times
use a spoon to spread the butter / lurpak is acceptable it is much quicker . Use ketchup or hp sauce as a garnish this has to happen but don’t squirt to much it’s to enhance not overpower . Adding cheese or eggs both have benefits but this is another discussion.
