Since it's that time of the year where I get CVs everyday from graduating students, here are a few tips to help you:

1. Every recruiter gets 100s of CVs if not more from same unis - we spend less than a minute on each one. Make sure to put your best skills right upfront. [1]

2. Your BS.Econ/PolSc degree just doesn't cut. We want to know what more you have been upto. What additional skillset do you have?

3. First thing I will do as a recruiter is to briefly scan your digital footprint. Please use your digital media in a good way. It MATTERS!

4. Learn about the org, & see where you fit & how you can contribute. Engage with their staff for info.

5. Be original. Seasoned recruiters can call bullshit from a mile.

6. Avoid hardened opinions. You just finised Bachelors - demonstrate willingness to learn.
