The NYT story about Tara Reade is predictably full of Biden cronies saying it’s absurd but key takeaway is that two more witnesses have confirmed key parts of her story. A 3rd person says Tara told about it long ago, & intern recalls her supervisory position being yanked suddenly
It’s unfortunate that the NYT assigned Sydney Ember to a sensitive story of sexual assault and they’ve stuffed the whole thing so full of denials by Biden people that it might look like it is undermining Reade but it actually adds nothing that should cause us to doubt her.
The question to ask when reading newly reported details is: is this something you’d expect if the allegation was true? So things like “we spoke to many staffers who do not recall a sexual assault” are exactly what you’d expect. They sound like they cast doubt but they don’t.
Also we know that someone behind the scenes has been succumbing to pressure not to make the article too harsh on Biden so read every sentence bearing that in mind
