As good as this is, there are really fascinating gaps. It doesn& #39;t really flesh out where Trump got his anti-scientific understanding--was that all Mnuchin (who& #39;s not among the WH& #39;s willfully ignorant crowd)? https://twitter.com/EricLiptonNYT/status/1249009586905939968">https://twitter.com/EricLipto...
There& #39;s a really pregnant reference to, "voices outside of the White House [who] peppered Mr. Trump with competing assessments about what he should do and how quickly he should act." The only named voice is Blackstone& #39;s Stephen Schwarzman (and that may be later).
But of course, many of those "outside voices" would be Fox News.

I& #39;d be curious how this story would look if @benyt had been involved.

Some might also be Mar-a-Lago bozos.
In other words, the story& #39;s great for demonstrating how the utter lack of policy process at the WH & President& #39;s narcissism have led to more deaths. But it doesn& #39;t fill out people who play a key policy role (Hannity) bc they occupy such a persistent role in Trump& #39;s echo chamber.
