It was incredibly stupid of Jains in Surat to think of mounting a benevolent blitz for the welfare of the speechless animals afflicted by the lockdown. They should have been aware that there are perverse group of people out there who would distort this meeting to serve their end

Everyone should extend the help to animals and those in need in their individual capacities. Since social gatherings are banned, let our collective efforts, which could serve to optimise our aid efforts, be a victim of this mandate.

Now that Tablighi Jamaat’s role as super-spreader had emerged, it was but natural for librandus to resort to attacking other gatherings, even if that is meant for helping the destitute and stray animals. Those disadvantaged and needy be damned! Apna agenda chalana hai bas

Tablighi Jamaat had organised a religious congregation. The singular aim of the meet was to take Islam to newer horizons. Jamaat members were found spitting on nurses, doctors, took a dump in corridor, ran around naked. A false equivalence is being drawn here between Jains & TJs

On the other hand, Jains met there to carry out the relief work. The banner behind the Jain monk says it all. It wasn’t a religious meet by any stretch of the imagination but when your goal is to extenuate Jamaatis, why let the facts hamper your agenda?

Keep distorting. Run fake news, malign them through photoshopped videos, label them as “Jain Jamaatis” so that the issue can be muddled and Tablighi Jamaati delinquents can be safeguarded.
