It’s a fail safe in case the journalist fails to recognize something that might harm the Liberal party. I remember the commissars telling us that our jobs depended on getting Liberals elected. When some of us protested that the Liberals under Paul Martin made the deepest cuts to CBC budgets ever, I had to take a series of classes and sign a revised NDA.

Ahem. I want to read something out loud here: “I was merely joking about the existence of a ‘commissar’ at CBC. I was speaking out of turn and without knowledge of things that no longer concern me. All further a questions on the matter should be referred to Heritage Minister.”

But I’m not at CBC anymore, and I’m free to speak my mind, and....wait a sec, I’m getting a phone call......
