I'm getting too anxious day by day as to what will happen for the remaining month of this sy/sem. I used to get really hurt by the thought that we really should sacrifice to prioritize for
academics -- time with the family, hours of sleep, eating on time, mental health, but the system normalized these as if students do not have a choice at all. Take it or leave it. Do these or forget about all your dreams. We dont have much of a say, really.
But we follow nonetheless. We try to strive hard even if it's taking so much toll on us. And now with a lot of things happening around us, is it really right and just not to be a bit lenient to students? Online classes have been long an issue.
not everyone has access to the internet or if they have, internet may be unstable. Mass promotion is too risky, I know. But at this moment, is it? If Ateneo can, why can't all other universities do it? Sana lang hindi tayo laging nakabase sa utak. Let's set aside school rankings
and school reputations. Bakit hindi pwedeng tularan ang Ateneo? Based on their memo, they actually have plans naman for the knowledge and skills that may haven't been acquired by students. After this pandemic, we cannot expect everyone to easily bounce back to normal kaya
for once, even just for once, puso muna.
Let's not pretend as if we don't receive fake concern and empathy from instructors and professors
with statements like "i hope you are all safe and doing good. don't stress yourselves with anything and get enough sleep.........
.

.
but for now, these are the things that you need to accomplish for..."

like really?????
