...who might be thinking 'oh but why doesn't she moisturise?', refer back to the second tweet in this thread o_0 So I was at my wits' end - the pain was enough to wake me in the night - until I suddenly recalled the nitrile gloves and dug them out.
And guess what? Something medical personnel no doubt know, but I never did: unlike cheap disposables, nitrile gloves are properly waterproof. RESULT! I now have happy, healed hands and am on my fourth reuse of one pair of gloves. All hail nitrile!
