My thoughts!

Firstly, because a certain routine worked in China, doesn't mean if replicated in details it will work here. Nonetheless, can we compare the road spray called fumigation by the PLSG to the thorough disinfection by the Chinese? No!

The energy and resources that was used to "fumigate" Plateau state should have been channeled in deep sensitization and orientation about the preventive measures of the pandemic. This should be tailored in the grassroots; traditional and religious backgrounds.

You barely see a person with a face mask or gloves in a typically crowded Market like Farin Gada. This is wrong. In controlling the spread of this virus, it isn't about playing safe but the next person closest to you doing same.

These precautionary strategies should be more emphasized using all media means possible and every channel available.

The lockdown is very good.
But I would have suggested that 100% lockdown is very unreasonable, being that most people in Plateau state live by the day.

There should be ban on all commuting but walking and moving around shouldn't be hindered. Shops selling provisional items should be open to sell diary products. Food should not be delisted.

Anyone entering our state borders should be quarantined for 14days before release.

These proactive, yet baby steps to ensuring a virus-free Plateau is more productive oriented and quite calculative than these measures put up by this administration.

Who is advising the Governor?

Let us not copy and just paste.
Let's evaluate and study our system first.

The Governor won't lack food, his barn is filled up to the brim. If he needs something, he can drive and just get it anywhere he wishes to. He is the Governor.

But...
What about the common man who doesn't have these privileges and powers to do and undo?

Wielding state powers is a mantle and a staff of honor to executive such powers in favor of the electorates.

Make policies and decisions to fit the least in the society. Weigh pros and cons and analyze to its fulcrum.

But..
Waking up and spraying fumigants on the street is...

...stupid, dysfunctional & a delusional idea.

Is this a charade to embezzle money?
Is it a display of inefficiency by the Govt?

Aren't we tired of being ridiculed and made jest of? We can do better...

The Governor needs to surround himself with perhaps younger people,

with a vibrant mindset, people who think without restricted by a box, sharp and articulate individuals, etc.

I pray that the Govt to come don't fail us like this Administration. Amen.

P.S: disinfect & not fumigate. Use drones and spray on surfaces with possible spread

not on coal-tars. Logically, don't spray in the rain, its a woeful goof.

Do more sensitization and save money. Mandate everyone to be on face masks or be punished. Let all organizations install hand sanitizers everywhere, entrances & exits.
