As a healthcare professional, I’m just wondering why other healthcare professionals are going to shops, getting on and off buses and parading round the streets in their uniforms? Especially those who, like me, are clinical?

Go to work in your own clothes. Change. Work. Change into your own clothes. Go home. Shower. Shower at work if you can. Stop the spread of disease. Even going TO work in your uniform via a bus or shop is potentially spreading the virus to vulnerable patients you then care for.
