1. Great news, Dr. Slump fans! Dougo13, one of our contacts for Japanese broadcast rips who has a collection spanning 40 years, has found the full hour long Dr. Slump/Queen Millennia special on one of his tapes. I just watched it, and boy do I got something good to reveal here...

2. It was assumed based on info from jp wiki and others that the Slump/Millennia special was a clipshow and that there were only a couple of minutes of new footage wrapped around the clips. 3. Get ready for this...included in the hour special is a previously unknown (in the west) full sp. episode of Dr. Slump and Arale-chan not available on the dvd box sets, titled "Huh!? Penguin Village Through the TV Jack" and based on manga vol 2, ch 10-11, "Barbershop Panic 1-2"

4. Plot: Thief Joe Dunn is being chased by cops and he hides out in the Soramame Barber Shop and takes everyone hostage, then Suppaman as Klarku Kenta shows up and interviews everyone and it culminates in Arale showing off her strength by cracking the moon in half.

5. Next is that the special also includes another short 25 sec. Slump/Millennia crossover segment that wasn't included on the Millennia dvd release/our subbed release. It shows Arale and Gatchan visiting the ramen shop from Queen Millennia. Check it out...

6. The special goes like this: 30 sec segment where Queen Millennia's ship crashes in Penguin Village, 23 min Slump episode, 25 sec ramen shop segment, 20 min Millennia clipshow, and finally the last 30 sec segment of Slump and Millennia taking a picture together, + commercials..

8. Promo for the premier of Game Center Arashi, April 5, 1982. Dougo13's rip is a rerun from early April, 1982. The Slump/Millennia special originally aired on July 25, 1981.

9. Me and @obitchaman actually discussed the fact that Dr. Slump manga vol 2, ch 10-11 were unadapted chapters two months ago, so it's weird to find out they were adapted, just missing. Vol 11, ch 12 (Gatchan eats a hole in the yard and creates a hot spring) is also unadapted...

10. Could it be that vol 11, ch 12 is actually adapted in the lost special #88.5, "A New World Wonder Made Public in Penguin Village" another special that isn't on the dvd box sets? The name fits, and the chapter features Daigoro and the episode is after he's introduced in ep 84.
