I follow roughly 50/50 for active users who talk about British politics vs Irish politics on twitter.

I have always known exactly what was happening in Ireland. I am still not fully sure what& #39;s happening in the UK. And I& #39;m living in England. https://twitter.com/laineydoyle/status/1249127908876128259">https://twitter.com/laineydoy...
It has been terrifying watching one of my countries& #39; governments shut down everything while the other remains business as usual. It& #39;s been frustrating watching businesses and organisations in the UK make decisions to continue as normal until forced to close despite the evidence.
And this thread doesn& #39;t even touch the difference in isolation periods - 14 days in Ireland vs 7 days in the UK. It& #39;s ridiculous!

I& #39;ve been following Irish guidance rather than British guidance since they cancelled Paddy& #39;s. Ireland will undoubtedly come out of lockdown first.
When that happens, I& #39;m just going to be winging it. All I know is that I don& #39;t trust the British government one bit in any of this.
