My son asked for a picture of a city. I can& #39;t help but make a map.
Too many tiny buildings
A little more.
All the way across both ways. Seems I& #39;m taking a lot of inspiration from London.
Part of me really wants to scan this in and annotate it. Part of me wants to keep it analogue
One corner down. Hospital and the old grave yard enclosed.
Just one last corner to go. Think I& #39;m going to do a clear sheet overlay so I can explain some bits.
Finally done! Last corner was quite rich, near River park and the observatory.

At Lauren& #39;s hospital was built about 20 years ago, after a terrible plague tore through the city. At the time it was the largest building in the city. It is one of the best medical establishments in the known world.
The old cemetery used to be known as The knight field cemetery. However it was filled during the plague. Bodies are now buried in a larger cemetery outside the city.
John& #39;s works slum started out as at Elizabeth& #39;s park. John Degale managed to persuade the last king to allow him to build a factory on the land, he built the factory and kept as much of the park around it as he could. He was killed by a business rival.
His son inherented the factory and the park. He was a nasty piece of work. Wages were cut. Worked slept in the park after being evicted from their houses. Since then the slum has grown to be home to a few thousand people.
The main roads of the city. (Need a name for it still)
I& #39;m really enjoying having this plastic overlay. Need a set of thinner board pens.
