Fun things this weekend (thread)

1. My friend’s 2 year old hugging her mum’s phone when I FaceTimed her and hushing me as she was playing hide and seek under the covers. I’ve only spent 4 days with her, six months ago.

2. My other friend’s 2yo showing off Spider-Man underpants on video call

3. Learning about the horror of the (lack of) hygiene in the Netherlands with my friend who lives there

4. Dropping off homecooked Indian food at a friend’s. Seeing their kids run from one tree to another and saying hello to me.

5. Sharing Greek dessert with my neighbour and them sharing Lebanese homemade dessert with me

6. Getting outside for a drive for the first time in two weeks, feeling the sun on my face

7. Swapping food with another friend while physical distancing

8. FaceTime with a new friend I met six months ago, in another country and since was communicating with on email

9. Receiving an inspiring post card from my close friend in @sgi_info

10. Chatting to a close friend in pointless intellectual debate and learning about some of their struggles in the process

11. Finding Pain au chocolat on uber eats and binging on them

12. Freeing up space in my laptop

13. Enjoying my home cooked food for the first time in two years. Hint - I enjoy cooking for others and sharing food

14. Deciding to do this list. Needing to remind myself - I’m #StayHomeAustralia but I’m #NotAlone
