lrt ah yes ive always thought theres no way banri was happy or had people he could call his friends before he joined mankai. absolutely nothing to love and no one to lean on
we DO know about how things were boring for him and whatnot but we're yet to completely find out how it actually affected his relationship with others and with himself
which is why i love his portrait in act 7 so much bc it gave us a small insight of how frustrated he was with the empty life he was living, and how hes been suffering all through that by himself FOR YEARS
not having anything to be passionate about, having no goals and aspirations, asking yourself what you want to be in the future and not having an answer must be really scary and sad
mankai is the place where he finally found his passion AND people he can call his genuine friends. imagine how important it is to him :(
