as a senior officer who helped plan 2019 prom: prom was not worth your money and it usually ends up with drama and the food we order is never ever good and the themes are a literal joke

when it is safe to do so: dress up in whatever dress you felt forced to buy and get pretty with the friends you WANT to be with (not the group u were guilted into) and go walk around the galleria lookin like bad bitches

and appreciate a calmer atmosphere of your loved ones and appreciate they are still next to you. then order food that is actually good & filling and do whatever activities u do (yall are minors i aint listing) in a safe environment and VIBE OFF THE END OF UR SENIOR YR

all in all as someone who both went to prom & planned it: it SUCKS lmao go to your college’s homecoming

and if u arent going to college or ur school wont host one: you can be my date and i will take 13 dates if i want to its 2020 goodnight i love u my senior babies im sorry that your experiences were taken away and u didnt get to choose prom or not
