For the past five years, any cheap hack could easily become a popular political pundit just by insisting that Bernie was the only good democrat. Now that Bernie has bowed out in the name of unity, these pundits are seeing their grift go up in smoke – and they’re all melting down.

The grift was so easy: make up negative nonsense about every prominent democrat, and pitch it to Bernie’s eager fans. Didn’t have to be any good. Didn’t have to be true. No one would vet you. MSNBC would book you, because the crap you spewed was good for ratings. Now it’s over.

As we attempt to bring Bernie’s reasonable supporters into the democratic fold so they’ll vote for Biden, we have to understand what they’re hearing from the other side. They’re still hearing from these desperate grifters who are escalating the lunacy of their anti-Biden rhetoric

The good news is that as Bernie’s reasonable fans gradually lose interest in what the “all democrats are bad but Bernie” pundits have to say, and as MSNBC stops booking these types, it’ll become easier to win Bernie fans over. That’s why it’s so crucial that we have eight months.
