someone asked me in my cc what a good way to write renjun in fic is!!! like how to properly respect him and portray him so

here’s a guide on how to write renjun in your fics/some important personality aspects that i think are noteworthy and may help u!!!

renjun is a wonderfully versatile person!!! in fact lately we’ve learned he has a bigger and more wild personality than we ever thought previously hdjdhs below i will list some very important key renjun qualities to note!!!

( sometimes you do have to change characters to adapt them to your surroundings so his hobbies and interests might not be the same in your fic but you can certainly apply his core beliefs and personality)

1. for starters, renjun is incredibly intelligent and very introspective!!! he’s always looking at the world curiously and asking why instead of taking straight answers and he’s extremely diligent and focused on his goals to like an inspiring level i wish i could be him

2. he’s very artistic and creative!! extremely passionate in doing what he does!!! he’s an out of the box thinker and he gets a lot of cleansing out of doing his art!!! also he’s a human jukebox he’s ALWAYS singing

3. he’s a very firm defender of gender equality, lgbtq+, and human rights he’s called people out on multiple occasions for wrongdoings or harmful ideals he has a very strict moral code

4. he’s very playful!!! extremely funny and always has a well timed joke or an entertaining reaction!!! he’s extremely sharp and quick-witted!! he’s also really wild and his friends call him a strong force of energy and positivity he’s often one of the loudest members

5. he’s a very firm believer in self forgiveness and self care!!!! countless times he’s encouraged us to reach our goals but also reassured us that it’s more than okay to fail and that progress is different for everyone!!!

++ he encourages us to find hobbies that bring us peace, and learn to accept ourselves for who we are and change what we want to but not what other people tell us we should

6. he’s very loving!!! he isn’t as open with his affection and especially in front of cameras and crowds but we’ve seen countless instances of him being a very attentive friend who is always there to offer an ear to listen and encourage!!!

++ he gives people really thoughtful gifts and is always there when a friend is in need!!!

7. counter to popular opinion, though he’s an aries, he’s an extremely patient person!!!! he’ll endure a lot before he gets irritated and it’s really only for a good reason when he Does get upset he’s very smart and rational with his emotions!!!

++ (that being said, certain things do annoy him but anger isn’t a personality trait he’s human and he’s not immune)

8. he’s someone that is very candid about his thoughts and ideals and he’s not afraid to live as himself!!! he doesn’t put on a persona he reveals his true self to us every day even though he isn’t obligated to and he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in!!!

overall, i think writing renjun is one of my favourite things to do!!! he’s extremely versatile and he’s someone i always feel better about including!!!

he can be mysterious and coy and dangerous in fics (a good example of not only using cute traits) or he can be comedic relief and someone warm to rely on!!!

as long as you’re asking yourself if you’re really respecting him as a person when you write about him and the answer is a fairly confident yes, i encourage you to feed me that delicious renjun food!!)

ALSO!!! a word of warning is to be careful about how you use sarcasm and playful aggression with him because there’s a line between comedic relief and going too far/painting him negatively he’s portrayed a lot in this light and it can be a little harmful if done incorrectly!!!
