I really do care about + for the young queer survivors, and I get it / I've been there

but it's not actually okay to call other queer survivors pedophiles or apologists for thinking creators shouldn't be harassed for fictional work.

PTSD rage is normal; acting on it isn't okay.
None of us are the people who abused you, or the reason you were abused.

We take our pain and rage out on other queer people, who may trigger us but haven't harmed us, because they're easier targets than the people who actually abused us - usually, straight cis men.
I don't mind people lashing out in my mentions over this kind of thing - I don't fear callouts anymore. I have the privilege not to.

I *do* worry about the next generation of queers; what it means when we're policing our own sexual morality by stricter-than-straight standards.
