When ppl say God is real, I just wonder if they ignore all the ppl that are suffering to come to that conclusion. And I’m not being funny. I genuinely am curious. Cus I see kids in cages and black families torn a part by incarceration and sex trafficking victims and I’m like ????

Cus honestly I want more than anything to believe in god. I can’t help that. That’s what I was brought up to believe despite my issues with it but it’s like I cannot ignore the reality of most people.

I cry every time I drive by homeless people. Pisces shit I know, but I genuinely deeply feel other people’s emotions and experiences, which is why I do the work that I do. But seeing the shit I see is exactly why my faith is non existent.

The other issue I have with religion in general is the level of complacency and content-ness that they feel you should have Lmao. Like the idea that I’m supposed to be content and grateful with the bare minimum? Lmao no. Absolutely not.
