okie but i miss work so i guess i’ll share my work stories about the customers that come in
this one dude tried to get me to join an “exclusive youth christian community in indiana” where we all would rely on one another. he stressed that it was for ages 14-22, mainly, but if we passed the age limit while living there we could stay. they also apparently made movies
this one dude asked if we (my coworkers and I) liked gold fish then proceeded to bring in a big box with 8smaller boxes of 25 pouches of gold fish each as a tip.
one of my regulars asks for a lot of salt on his cheese pizza but he drinks a lot of water so it’s fine, i guess
this one old guy asked my coworker out by buying her a $350 necklace and when she politely declined, he let her keep the necklace and brings gift cards to up us with (like to Dairy Queen, McDonalds, ect) and he brought her a rose on valentine’s day.
whenever my regulars see me being fed up at my job, they always tip me more, and make jokes. that’s honestly the reason i’m hesitant to leave my job, i would seeing them on my shifts
this one guy (i work next to a bar) was standing outside in the rain, popped his head in, and said he was sad because I wouldn’t come out and talk to him. I told him I was working, and he said he was sorry to interrupt and went back outside.
this one older guy tips me like $5 every time he comes in, and offers to show me how to shoot pool one day if i’m interested. i always say thank you but i’m not interested but he comes in to offer every sunday anyway
this truck driver came in, but was like $0.62 cents on his food so i told him don’t worry about it covered the difference. he came in a few days later and offered to cover my bills whenever i moved out of my parents house.
this one dude said he liked peanut butter cookies so i gave him a free one because those are my favorite and it helped me win ana regiment with my coworker, in return he came back and gave me $10 for the cookies. sadly we don’t sel peanut butter cookies anymore though
