It’s not perfect but it is an amazing country....you honestly don’t know the half of it until you have lived and experienced it.

The response plan, the risk analysis and the coordination, cooperation of resources nationally is astounding. Two weeks to roll out a national response and implementation is in full force. Five minutes to apply for Canada emergency relief benefits and in two days money in acct.

Landlords telling tenants to hold rent payment, even banks that are supposed to be greedy and fleece you of money is putting in measures to help cope with the financial strain by suspending loan repayments.

The liberal govt, immediately paying 75% of wages for corporate organizations like air canada. Small business getting support with worker wages.

Food is the least concern of anyone living in Canada right now. The food bank, if by mistake you dialing their number they would call you back to ask if you need something. The people are united helping one another.

Crime rate drop by 70 fucking percent y’all....

The only down side is boredom but families and friends getting creative with the down time.

The govt isn’t unaware of the difficulties ahead, plans are already in place on how to manage and start the economic recovery when the pandemic is over.

The business migration program would be a big deal in the coming years. The appeal of Canada and Canadians is the intangible item that money cannot buy. That intangible was put in motion many governments ago.

Don’t wanna bore you with more details but I would be an ungrateful fellow if I don’t acknowledge the ability and goodness in human even in our darkest moments.
