I am a seeker, both spiritual and political.
What's on offer does not typically go down easy. In community political orgs, think tanks, etc., there is too much feeding at the trough of power and corruption, in the name of strategic compromise.

Have eyes wide-open with a lot of orgs out there.
There is an incestuous web of funding and mutual back-scratching -

Because they want proximity to power, jobs, $$ lots of good individuals get picked up & absorbed by these incestuous webs of funding & power.
