the way people on social media talk about famous teenagers (all teenagers actually) is disgusting. its just so uncomfortable to see people criticize teens ages 13-17 on all aspects of like including mental, social, and (grossly) physical maturity.

we all joke about how we wish to not be perceived, because yeah same, but GOD i wish teenagers were allowed to live without being perceived.

i think the tiktok/Asshole famous teen influencer culture is what inspired this thought, but i want to also add this: please be more forgiving of kids. Adolescence is the time when you are supposed to grow and learn. the internet just amplifies the effects/range of bad decisions.
