So for this #Satyrday, I was busy doing chores and then got distracted. But, I had read something in #Nonnos #Dionysiaca that led me to these #Satyrs

These two are the columns or guards of the temple of #Attis at Ostia

Now #Nonnos gives us insight to #Attis and his cut above or is that below, & his arrival with a special shield- a meteorite item from some accounts. So this took me down a rabbit hole with Attis and #Rhea also known as #Cybele which gets met to call in @ColorsAndStones & @chapps
