As you can probably tell, I am making some very big changes to my shop!

I thought I’d type up a little thread to explain to you all what exactly this means, and why I’m doing it. It also gives me a chance to tell you guys a little bit of my personal story and how it relates...
I was born with severe eczema. There is no cure for it, but there are things I can do to avoid breaking out in itchy bumps from head to toe. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved jewelry...but for a long time, I didn’t know that it was a HUGE trigger for my skin...
This is what my skin looks like when I wear polyester clothing, jewelry with nickel and mixed metals, etc. Even plated jewelry gives me this reaction.
This is what my skin looks like now!
What’s different?

I only wear cotton and wash my clothes with organic soap nuts.
I learned that the ONLY jewelry I can wear is solid 925 sterling, real gold, and real gemstones.
For a long time, I was scared to wear ANYTHING...until a few months ago when I started experimenting with making my own jewelry.

I learned what materials my skin hates, and what it tolerates. Now that I know, I want my jewelry to be safe for other people with eczema.
I bought a lot of supplies when I started out to see exactly what I can and can’t wear, and the results were pretty obvious. I don’t want my old materials to go to waste, so yesterday I started selling them to fund my new supplies. I am completely phasing out my inventory to...
...accommodate other people like me with EXTREMELY delicate skin and allergic reactions to base metals. After my next update, I will only be creating jewelry with solid 925 sterling silver, filled gold, solid gold, and real gemstones. Everything else I am letting go.
I’m not making this post to insult or look down on anyone who uses beads or base metals in their work!!! I love it and wish I could wear it!!! I just wanted to explain why I’ve been selling SO many supplies recently. And why it’s so important to me.
I have a lot more supplies to let go of, which I will be posting more in the next few days, I want it all to go to good creative homes 💖✨
I hope this thread helps to explain what’s been going on with my shop, and why it is going in such a new and extreme direction! This is really important to me and I can’t wait to show you all my new work ♡ I love you all sooo much! Thank you for supporting me and my dream.
I wish you all lots of love and very happy skin!
