I get disproportionately sad when I remember something neat I saw online years ago, be it an old video, blog or an artist, that I can't find no matter how hard I search. I'm a very orderly person and the impermanence of the internet just distresses me.

I've developed a habit of downloading and saving stuff that really inspires me, just in case. I wish I had started doing it sooner, because there's a whole bunch of artists that I admired who just one day deleted their entire galleries and vanished completely.

It sucks to see something so meaningful to you disappear forever without a warning. Even if it was just some silly old anime AMV you liked a lot as a teen.
