We’re going to take a quick example: gloves and aprons.
They need to be changed between patients every single time.
They need to be changed between patients every single time.
Please note: This is a protection for the patients, not the staff.
There are currently 78991 patients tested positive = in hospital as this is the only way to get tested.
Let’s take a 25 patients ward. Let’s make it 4 visits each on a 12 hour shift = 100 gloves x 6 nurses https://twitter.com/stilldelvingh/status/1248771170717048833

Just that -that’s 2m. Then add the doctors. Add the ICUs where 1 nurse is needed for two patient / 1 for each requiring a ventilator. And that’s just for hospitals. Not including care workers, not including suspected cases. You want to do the maths do the maths @matthancock.

- How many PPE are delivered a day, and to who.
- How many are supposed to be used

How can they be wasted when not provided?

Don’t let this be framed as a govt/opposition debate.
It’s about the govt providing what it itself deemed necessary.
Let’s talk numbers.
