So if you aren’t aware there’s this post going around calling Lilo basically problematic or a brat. I’m just here to say Lilo was a child who lost both her parents, was constantly bullied by Mertle, and had no friends. Why are you judging her like an adult?
Yes yes she is just an animated character, but her character, her actions, her feelings was very relatable and true to most people that went through similar things like bullying, losing love ones, or simply trying to cope with those circumstances.
Lilo is not a brat. She was just a child trying to learn how to cope with her parent’s loss. I loved Lilo & Stitch when it first came out and till this day I consider it to be one of my favorite films and would rewatch it anytime I can. It taught me about loss, bullying, & ohana
Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind...or forgotten. Lilo taught me about loss, bullying, coping mechanisms and most importantly the importance of family. So no, Lilo is not a brat. #Lilo #LiloAndStitch
