Tried watching Deep Impact just now because reasons. Couldn't get past the opening scene when Mike O'Malley says it's probably just a satellite. FFS anyone who's ever looked once through a telescope would tell you that's not accurate.

LMFAO This movie came out 20 years ago talking about the Orion system and we STILL don't have it.

Gonna continue this thread today. Next movie is The Core. It's a guilty pleasure of mine. They don't even begin to hide how silly all of it is.
