Had a call for a guy with a gun on his hip & a full clown mask on his face walking in a store. Even in open carry happy Georgia, that’s a bit much. I suggest the guy not do that anymore starting, oh I guess, Right Now. He asks about his freedom of expression. I actually guffawed

He then says the plastic clown mask is to protect him from the virus. I guffaw. I ask how good his peripheral vision is w/ his mask from The Purge & when would he notice someone taking his zero retention holstered gun. We agree to disagree but agree not to wear a mask with a gun

I have no problem with open carry even though I personally find it odd. It’s legal and also I’m not too worried about someone with a gun in their holster. They do make some nervous. I don’t do it but that’s me. I’m more concerned about the guy with the gun in his waistband.

But wearing a full mask with a gun is a tad much. Plus it’s illegal here to wear such a mask in public places (nice law that targeted the Klan). It also suggests that the carrier of that gun has extremely poor judgment.
